I make images about land, memory, identity, and the traces we leave behind.

I have always been drawn to places that seem to remember—rivers and swamps, forests and coastlines, old roads, changing cities, and landscapes where human history remains quietly present. I photograph what is there, but the photograph is often only the beginning.

Working in a form I call fusion art, I combine photography with layering, digital painting, and painterly interpretation. I am less interested in recording exactly what a place looked like than in discovering what it felt like to stand there, to witness it, and to remember it.

People enter this work for the same reason. A person and a landscape carry histories of their own, but when brought together they can reveal something neither could express alone.

My work has been exhibited in museums and galleries and is held in public and private collections, including the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian.

For me, the land is never merely scenery. It remembers.
